Kids love to use Amazon Alexa. The variety of skills available shows why! The most interesting use of Alexa in this category is to use the device as an “person” instead of a interaction interface. Alexa can speak directly to kids to engage them in ways that we can’t on other devices. I’m surprised there is only one media property in the top 10. I could see a Dora the Explore, or whatever resonates with the audience, treasure hunt game (or whatever game would be related to the character) climbing to the top of the ratings fairly easily!

When someone’s being unfair or nasty, bring them to court and let Lexy judge!
Random review: As an attorney I very much enjoyed this skill although I wish the opening sound was someone saying “oyez oyez” instead of, randomly, the music you hear a the beginning of a horse race. Regardless it was fun. Judge Lexy convicted my husband of being gross for preferring cold French fries. To the one reviewer’s point, I also had a hard time getting the skill to open. I’ve had this issue with a number of skills recently and all you have to do is enable the skill in the app and then it will open for you when you ask Alexa to open the skill. Not the developer’s fault. (5 out of 5)

Random review: The game is seriously great, but my 6 year old was very upset when she moved on so quickly after giving the answer options. My son is ADHD so it takes him some time to listen and respond. He knew the answer, but after about 5 seconds she repeats the question. If he still can’t answer in time, she closes the game. I just feel a better idea would be to allow the user to set the amount of time to answer (10, 20, 30 seconds). Otherwise, great skill! (5 out of 5)
