Dear reader, I like to imagine you reading this blog with your morning coffee. After putting down your newspaper, and as teh site loads, you think to yourself, “it seems like everything is so political these days, at least my Alexa market intelligence reports don’t talk about politics”. I’ve got bad news for you!
Today, we’re looking at skills that exclusively received either 5 or 1 (out of 5) star reviews. In other words, people either loved or hated these skills. There were only 4 skills (in the US marketplace) that had over 15 ratings and fit this description. As you might expect, half of these are about Trump. The other two seem to have broken integration with other services.
Take a look at the random reviews, it’s almost like if they are about two different skills! The ratio of 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews is in the skill header and formatted as % 5 star : % 1 star.

Negative random review: I can get it to link my account, in theory. but every time I ask it a question it cannot answer. even a simple one like when is my next bill due. Perhaps that is because I have multiple policies? I don’t know, but not impressed. (1 out of 5)
