This is one of my favorite category to analyze. None of these skills are particularly sophisticated, but they are all wildly popular. At the end of the day, it seems like people just want their Alexa to fart, meow, burp, tell them a stupid joke, or growl like Chewie. I think that’s an important lesson about humans. We’re not that different after all. Pro-tip, if you speak a language that has Alexa but doesn’t have a fart, meow, or burp skill, you’re looking at a fantastic opportunity for a popular skill.
